The Meridian Quay development required a full upgrade of its fire alarm system due to identified fire safety deficiencies, including defective fire compartmentation and combustible external cladding on multiple buildings. To address these critical risks, the fire alarm system was upgraded to an L5 standard, incorporating heat detectors in each individual dwelling to ensure early detection and occupant safety.
