Job Description
Sales, business development & customer service
- To nurture and develop ‘Sales’ related business through the development of Key Account Customer/Prospect relationships, following through upon opportunities and for both new and existing opportunities
- To work with the internal resources of Firerite to meet the schedule and requirements of the key Account Customer/Prospect and/or agree alternatives.
- Prepare tenders, proposals and draft sales contracts as required, or in co-operation with Fire Rite colleagues
- Research the market to identify new areas of business growth – either new clients or applications
- Maintain good knowledge of competitor products/service offering to ensure we always understand the market competition to enable us to offer more innovative solutions.
- Maintain a current and detailed database of clients and target prospects within the Fire Rite system
Reporting, Control & Risk Management
- Review sales, costs and expenses and report to Gareth Selway for weekly SMT meeting
- Prepare proposals and draft sales contracts as required, or in cooperation with
- Fire Rite colleagues
- Research the market fully to identify new areas of business growth – either new clients or applications
- Maintain a current and detailed database of clients and target prospects within the
- Fire Rite system (SIMPRO)
- Development of Customer/Prospect relationships, following through upon opportunities and for both new and existing opportunities
- To work with the internal resources of Fire Rite to meet the schedule and requirements of the Customer/Prospect and/or agree alternatives
- Assist with project handovers, and provide technical resource to project managers for current projects.
Personal Specification
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience selling and/or estimating passive fire services
- Ideally have in-depth knowledge of the passive fire protection market, applications, products and systems.
- ASFP IFE Level 1, 2 & 3 Qualifications desirable
- Technical competence and excellent customer problem solving skill
- Very good communication skills are required with the ability to express information in a clear and concise manner
- Customer focus encompassing hands-on sales skills and a “passion for delivering best in class service delivery”
- Computer skills – proficient at using CRM software, Microsoft office etc
- Ability to provide solutions that are cost effective and value engineered
- Work must be consistently accurate, timely and complete
- Cooperation with Fire Rite management team is required
- Transparency and openness of action/communication
Hours Of Work
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm / 9.00am to 5.00pm
(there is an element of flexibility of shifts/hours required to meet company requirements)
Salary
£45 – 55k
