Reports To Passive Fire Manager
Providing support to the Passive Fire Safety Department: (to include, but not exclusive to)
- Conduct inspections of fire doors according to established standards and regulations.
- Evaluate the condition of fire doors, frames, hardware, and associated components to determine compliance with fire safety requirements.
- Identify and document deficiencies, damages, or improper installations during inspections.
- Reading site plans
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs, maintenance, or replacements to ensure fire door functionality and compliance.

- Maintain detailed records of inspection findings, including photographs, measurements, and descriptions of observed issues.
- Liaising with clients and tenants
- . Communicate inspection results and recommendations effectively to clients, building owners, and relevant stakeholders.
- To consistently achieve agreed performance targets
- To sell and promote all of Fire-rite’s services to new and existing customers
- To keep the Passive Fire Protection Manager up to date on progress or potential delays
- Carry out Quality control and snagging on fitted Fire Doorsets
You will ideally be certified Level 3 Fire Door Inspection Scheme or equivalent and be a member of a relevant body such as IOSH, RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE or IFSM. You will preferably have a health and safety or Fire qualification (NEBOSH or Fire Management). Having previously worked in a similar role working with compliance or health and safety for residential buildings, you will have up to date knowledge of current housing related legislation and have experience of working with High Rise Residential buildings.
Hours Of Work
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm / 9.00am to 5.00pm
(there is an element of flexibility of shifts/hours required to meet company requirements)

£27 – 32k
