Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading and managing the Passive Fire Department. To include setting goals, assigning tasks, providing feedback, and motivating the team. The manager will be responsible for maintaining team morale and creating a positive work environment. The Manager will also be responsible for interviewing and hiring new members of the team, conducting performance evaluations, and managing conflicts between team members.
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of passive fire protection projects, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
- Prepare RAMS & ITPs: Draft and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in line with project requirements.
- Organise and Coordinate Resources: Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth project execution.
- Liaise with Clients and Stakeholders: Maintain strong communication with clients, contractors, suppliers and installers to ensure clear expectations and project alignment.
- Resolve Issues: Proactively identify and resolve any on-site issues or challenges that may arise during the course of the project.
- Assist in Pricing Variations: Collaborate with the commercial team to assist in pricing and negotiating project variations.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, building regulations, and project specifications.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality, adhering to fire protection standards and company procedures.
General Duties
- Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management, including any challenges or delays faced on-site.
- Provide efficient effective service to customers
- Contribute to the development of the Company and Passive Fire Team.
- Sell and promote all Companies services to future and existing clients.
Salary
Salary Range - £45,000 to £55,000 per annum
