Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Fire Stopper to join our growing fire protection team. This is a hands-on, entry-level role ideal for someone with a background in construction, joinery, or general maintenance who is looking to build a career in fire safety and passive fire protection.

As a trainee, you will learn how to install, maintain, and inspect fire compartmentation systems in line with industry standards and legal requirements, working alongside experienced installers on residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of fire stopping and compartmentation systems
  • Follow instructions and learn fire stopping and compartmentation installation techniques in line with 3rd party and manufacturer guidelines
  • Support site preparation, measuring, and strategy for all firestopping requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, complying with health and safety protocols
  • Document installation processes and materials used
  • Use and maintain hand and power tools safely
  • Attend training sessions and work toward gaining industry-recognised qualifications
  • Travel to various job sites as required

  • Valid UK driving licence preferred

Qualifications & Experience (Desirable but Not Essential)

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Basic experience in construction, carpentry, or general building maintenance
  • CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
