Dean McCabe

Dean plays a key role in FireRite’s Passive Fire team, leading compartmentation surveys, supporting tendering, and managing compliance across projects. He works closely with departments across the business to ensure passive fire measures meet required standards, carrying out site inspections and providing clear, detailed reports for clients.

With 25 years’ military experience followed by a decade in drylining and firestopping, Dean brings a disciplined, thorough, and technically strong approach to his work. Since joining FireRite, he has progressed from engineer to supervisor and now Project Manager & Technical Lead, contributing significantly to the department’s quality and growth. Outside of work, Dean loves travelling with his wife Jo and spending time with his grandchildren, and he is a passionate supporter of Welsh rugby and Cardiff Blues.
