Simon Hughes

Simon leads FireRite’s Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental function, ensuring that all operations meet the highest standards of compliance, safety, and performance. With nearly three decades of experience in highly regulated industries, he brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to building safe systems of work, improving processes, and strengthening FireRite’s culture of continuous improvement.

Simon works closely with teams across the business to manage risk, oversee auditing and incident review, and maintain robust ISO management systems that support FireRite’s commitment to protecting people and property. Outside of work, Simon enjoys rugby, supporting his twin daughters in their sporting achievements, and restoring classic vehicles including a VW T6 camper conversion and a fully rebuilt 1962 Vespa Sprint.
