Job Description: (to include, but not exclusive to)
- Reporting to the Directors
- Responsible for ensuring the proper application of quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) standards within Fire Rite UK Ltd. Ensuring that the company's QHSE policy is
- followed and implement the necessary measures to ensure the proper functioning of activities and services.
- Review Fire Rite’s QHSE procedures and guidelines and ensure that they are being followed.
- Ensure improvement of QHSE practices through staff, partner companies and suppliers.
- Develop, update and monitor QHSE procedures, policies and practices.
- Facilitate Fire Rite achieving ISO45001 & 14001 status.
- Train staff and supervisors on accident and injury prevention, product and process safety, and good work practices.
- Assess and prevent health and safety hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct internal and external audits on QHSE compliance and good practices.
- Ensure that actions taken to improve QHSE compliance are followed.
- Provide regular reports and updates to Fire Rite’s Senior Management Team on the implementation and monitoring of QHSE procedures.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of QHSE practices.
- Enforce and apply current QHSE regulations, laws and standards.
- Ensure all relevant Paperwork is completed to correct standard on company software system.
Personal Specification: (Required knowledge, skills & experience)
- Experience of Quality Procedures
- Proficient in ISO 9001; 14001 and 18001/45001 Standards
- In depth knowledge of COSHH legislation
- A good understanding of working within a life safety service delivery environment
- Budget management
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- The ability to express information in a clear and concise manner.
- Computer literate.
- Full clean driving licence.
Hours Of Work
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm / 9.00am to 5.00pm
(there is an element of flexibility of shifts/hours required to meet company requirements)
